My pre-exhibition stressed face, half hour to go!

The Reading Room begins to start to fill up with people.

And we have our artwork on the walls! (Daria's work)

The Reading Room almost full to the brim

Calm face and dimples post exhibition stress, very much stoked

These are some of the candid photos from our opening night event of our exhibition ‘PRETTY/UGLY’, hopefully I will have some photos with the details of the artworks that we have up. We are very much stoked with it all, and send out a much big thankyou to everyone that attended and supported us. Big, big love, hearts, and kisses for all of you beautiful people. Go team. x

Daria Healy-Koljanin and Shaylee Leach are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Together, they challenge preconceived notions of beauty and femininity and deal with hot topics like the sexualisation of youngsters. Through the exploration of dichotomies like ugly/pretty, damsel/predator and pristine/dirty, the pair take a fantasy ride to the dark side of innocence.

We also got a good write up in the thousands, the excerpt above is from that,  you can read it here
